First, I saw you said the eraser tool takes up memory. Try using the layers effectively by doing an under-drawing and just reducing the opacity of the layer. You should put your first pass on a separate layer than your background layer. Then once you've dropped the opacity of your rough, put another layer on top. That will be your final line art layer. Between those line layers put your flat or paint layer. If you apply one whole color to the entire silhouette, you won't have any color gaps.
Structure wise, I'd try starting with the chest first, it will give you more flexibility in creating a dynamic pose that starting with the head does not. Great work though! I hope you continue to play with Muro, cause it's fun to see people work.
